Product information
Peony Shirley Temple is a charming peony, a timeless classic with enormous, white, fragrant, double summer flowers and mid green leaves. Ideal for use as cut flowers.
- Planting location: Beds and borders
- Flowering period: May-June, Planting period: February - April
- Dig plenty of well-rotted compost or manure into the soil before planting. Position the roots in the hole spreading the roots out, so that the top red buds are no more that 2cm below the soil level. Draw soil around the roots and firm in. Water well. Remove faded flowers after flowering. Cut back foliage to ground level in autumn and clear away foliage debris. Feed with a general purpose fertiliser in spring to help growth.
